Modern Pawn is an Underground Publishing Company based out of Costa Mesa, CA. Our vision is to create a platform for Artists & Writers with different styles to get their work out in the world.
Creator: Glen Christensen
Glen put together these radical magazines with artwork by good friends from late nights. Only a small number were released & we plan to bring those back. He also started the best band ever ... DISTRACTOR! Glen passed at the age of 25 in 2015 from a rare cancer ... His wish was to be sent to space. We raised the money & he will be launched out of Cape Canaveral in 2018. Glen was a special breed. He colored outside the lines & followed no rules. We plan on keeping his vision alive!

A friend of Glen & artist of sorts. RL grew up in Costa Mesa, CA until he attended School of Visual Arts in 2010 eventually dropping out. He lived in New York for 3 years until he missed the beaches & mountains of California. After Glen & multiple other friends passed. RL suffered from not one but two minor heart attacks. With the support of family & friends RL Parole decided to carry on Modern Pawn.
